Our philosophy is to utilize materials and technology, normally considered waste, as raw material for innovative and functional design. We think it makes much more sense for a society such as ours, to more efficiently utilize used materials that are readily available before we spend more of our precious energy to create new materials to feed the same need.

Finally, this idea is reaching mainstream thought - the idea that "Good" design created with recycled materials is in no way inferior and often makes more sense than using new materials. Good design should not be disposable, it should last a long time. At Industrial Artifacts Inc, we create good design with good materials; most of our designs are created using 90-95% recycled material.
