We at Industrial Artifacts have taken sustainability to be one of the foundations of our business and are constantly looking for new ways to extend the idea. Essentially, the idea is to provide the best outcomes for human and natural environments, both now and into the future. Sustainability has come to mean living a more mindfully and responsibly by taking from the earth only in a manner that can be sustained in the future. This means not taking more from the earth than its ecosystems can replenish, and also means minimizing the negative impact of human society on the environment. Sustainability is about balancing our behaviours so they create more harmony and less dysfunction.
Industrial Artifacts have been pioneering reuse and recycle since 1998. Our innovative solutions for using seemingly obsolete leftovers to create unique and timeless designs for home and office, have reached around the world. Our mission is to reinvent interesting materials with interesting stories, into functional décor. It is our intention that our designs create bridges with the past and the future; we see them as reminders for living a more sustainable life which challenges humankind to be more creative and responsible with our waste.
